some facts that you should be aware of
100% Made in Germany: Condoms are a matter of trust - and quality is naturally number one. From development to manufacture, condom production is subject to the strictest standards. Most importantly, these can be checked and guaranteed during fabrication at our own production facilities in Germany. The MAPA Quality Management System fulfils all requirements of the European Medical Devices Directive, as well as ISO 9001 and EN 13485. All condoms conform to European safety standard ISO 4074 as recognised by the CE mark on the package.
Condoms were legally defined as medical products in 1995. Condoms have no side-effects because they do not penetrate into the organism. In rare cases, such as latex allergies, they can lead to unpleasant reactions.
Every single MAPA condom complies with the uniform European standard of quality management and production, ISO 4074. This is documented by the CE sign on the pack.
“Made in Germany" is the proof of origin that declares the production location and guarantees the highest quality. MAPA can also boast another seal of quality, namely the dlf sign awarded by the research institute "Deutsche Latex-Forschungsgemeinschaft Kondome e.V."
As part of the dlf quality assurance procedure, MAPA condoms are checked regularly by the Darmstadt State Materials Testing Authority.
